Program

Any for Many

Choreographer: Devised by Zena Bibler in collaboration with the performers
Music: Douglas Baker
Costume Design: Juliana Waechter, Zena Bibler, and performers
Lighting Design: Gabi Vanek
Dancers: Douglas Baker, Ellie Daley, Claudia Jacobson, Victoria Lefler, Sophia McLauglin, Katelyn Perez, Trinity Woody, Christina Yu

Any for Many is a score with 8 different phases. In each phase, the dancers are focusing on specific tasks. Destabilizing elements ("wild cards") are inserted in each phase, requiring the dancers to adapt and make decisions in real time.

Please be advised six dancers will briefly enter the house.

Special Thanks: To Douglas, Ellie, Claudia, Tori, Sophia, Katelyn, Trinity, and Christina, for your creativity, wit, openness, and physical daring. It has been a joy to collaborate with you. Deep gratitude also to Brandin Steffensen, Jeanine Durning, and Darrian O'Reilly, collaborators and teachers who have given me many of the tools I used to make this dance.

Eternal Nostalgia

Choreographer: Eloy Barragán
Music: Original Score by Douglas Baker
Costume Design: Juliana Waechter and Eloy Barragán
Lighting Design: Gabi Vanek
Dancers: Cearra Crosser, MJ Van Ostrand

The work explores experiences aiming to evoke the interconnectedness of dreams with our memories and the passage of time, highlighting the surreal and reflective nature of dreaming.

Please be advised this performance includes haze and strobe lights.

Special Thanks: To Douglas, my sincere appreciation for your openness to collaborate and your dedication in making time to come to rehearsals and discuss our work together. Your commitment and willingness to engage in meaningful dialogue have truly enriched our creative process. Thank you for your valuable contributions and for being such a supportive and gifted member of this project.

To my dancers, I am incredibly grateful for your hard work, commitment, and openness to trying new and different approaches during our rehearsals. Your dedication to refining your craft and embracing creative exploration has been inspiring to witness. Thank you for your tireless efforts and positive attitudes, which have undoubtedly contributed to the success of our work together. Keep up the fantastic work!

DUST

Choreographer: Jennifer Kayle in collaboration with the dancers
Music: Original score by Jason Palamara
Costume Design: Costume curation assistance by Juliana Waechter
Lighting Design: Original design by John Bohuslawski, rendered by Gabi Vanek
Dancers: Alyssa Alber, Ellie Daley, Zoe Miller, Maggie Steimel

DUST… it’s where we come from and where we’re going, over and over, gathering together and falling apart, inhabiting cycles of destruction and reconstruction and declaring: we are in it together.

Special Thanks: Heartfelt thanks to Alyssa, Ellie, Zoe, and Maggie for your collaboration, artistry, and stamina. So grateful to be with you in this work (“again”).
