Zoe Miller (she/her), a midwest-based choreographer, performer, and teacher originally from Athens, OH holds a BFA in performance and choreography from Ohio University and MFA in dance with a choreography emphasis from the University of Iowa (’23). Zoe has danced with Alexandra Beller, Aaron Samuel Davis, Travis Gatling, Alice Klock and Florian Lochner. Her own choreography examines multi- and interdisciplinary theatrical design, and scenographic spaces that transform as the work directs its performers and audience to shift their roles or tasks; interactive and immersive spectator experiences explore scenographic world-building in non-traditional theatrical settings through geometrical conceptualization of “performance architecture" in relation to site and object. An abiding ethos in her work is captured by Hubert Goddard, “I am in the space and the space is in me.”
