Biography

Cearra Crosser is currently in her fourth year pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance with a minor in Communications. Her dance journey began at Dance Connection by Michelle in Algona, Iowa, where she started training at the age of 5. Seeking to elevate her skills in ballet and contemporary dance, she enrolled in the dance program at the University of Iowa to gain performance experience and advance her training to a higher level.

Throughout her time at the university, Cearra has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed artists and choreographers such as Eloy Barragan, Melinda Myers, Tony Orrico, Danielle Russo, and Kieron Dwayne Sargeant. These experiences have enriched her artistic perspective and contributed to her growth as a dancer and choreographer.

Currently, Cearra is immersed in developing her own choreographic projects, which include her BFA Capstone and an independent project. These initiatives showcase her creativity, dedication, and passion for exploring new artistic expressions within the realm of dance.
