The BFA Devising Ensemble is a collection of senior BFA students who elected to enroll in the BFA Devising course. With around five weeks of time together, the students collaborated, in all aspects, under the faculty mentorship of Jennifer Kayle to create a piece to share at the BFA concert.
A collaborative creation by the senior BFA class of 2021, Sentiments of Senioritis is a site-specific piece signifying our farewell to the University of Iowa. Utilizing popular sites around the UI campus, Sentiments of Senioritis is a curious conglomeration of relationships. It is lazy, yet choreographed. It is laid-back, yet direct. It is classmates AND friends enjoying one final, unified performance at the place we’ve called home for the last four years.
