“A snake is still a snake, no matter how many times it sheds its skin.”

The embodied experiences of changing, growing and healing… The curiosity, discomfort, and rawness of shedding different parts…. What is projected, versus what is internalized…. Continual renewal, exposure, and sometimes undetectable transformation, yet we are still fundamentally the same. Does peace always follow chaos?

To my parents: thank you for your absolutely endless support, for encouraging me when things get difficult, and loving me for me. I truly would not be where I am today without you. To the Dance Faculty: You have shaped my experience here into something that I will cherish forever. Thank you for challenging me, investing in me, and believing in me. I am beyond grateful and I will miss you all dearly. To my fellow senior BFAs: I am so, so proud of us! I could not have asked for a better group to share the last four years with. You mean more to me than you will ever know.
