This piece is an outcome of the First Year Seminar (FYS) Course. FYS course is directed towards an introductory level of Dance Performance for 1st year Dance Majors entering the Department of Dance Program. Its foundation is based on elements present in dance movement phrases as perceived and investigated in the dance composition vocabulary. The creative process involved exploration of contemporary dance vocabulary, with students engaging in various professional models of creating, rehearsing, and performing movement material.
