Directors of UI Dance Company 2021

An unexpected joy over the course of this particularly challenging year has been witnessing the power of dance expressed through the determined bodies of our company dancers. Their dedication and enthusiasm in this season of unusual creation, rehearsal, and development has been, and continues to be, an inspiration. Thanks to our beautiful company.

We also thank our intrepid choreographers, creating dance work via Zoom and other unusual spaces, amidst other obstacles.

Thanks to our Performing Arts Production Unit for creating a space for us to perform when our theater was restricted from performance events.

Thanks to the Office of Strategic Communications, film director Nick Tomlonovic, and his team for patiently recording our work for broadcast in the online platform.

And special thanks to Chuck Swanson and the team at Hancher Auditorium for generously loaning us an extraordinary location to do our work and helping us keep the arts alive.
