Olivia Farmerie is a first-year MFA candidate on the choreography track from Pittsburgh, PA. Her research explores how movement can release and move trauma through the body. Focusing on subconscious impulses, Olivia generates improvisation scores that help dancers navigate trauma and heal through movement. She is thrilled to showcase her work for the first time at the University of Iowa.
