Lauren Linder (she/her) is a first-year MFA candidate in Dance choreography from Muncie, Indiana. Linder’s research interests include dance as a literacy practice, dance and writing, and accessibility in dance spaces. Through her choreography, Linder mobilizes softness, syntax, silliness, and subtlety towards emotive, thoughtful work that connects people to their bodies, problematizes hierarchies of form, and grounds us in togetherness.

Linder’s choreography has been presented in Seattle, WA; Philadelphia, PA; Kalamazoo, MI; and Iowa City, IA. Linder also holds an MA in Multilingual Education, a BFA in Dance, and a BA in Spanish from the University of Iowa.
