Katie Scuderi began dancing at age 3 training in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Contemporary and studied with the American Dance Center for 7 years. During her time she performed at various places including Disney World, Disney Land, Six Flags, the Chicago Cultural Center, Navy Pier, and was honored to travel to Los Angeles California to participate in the Dance Excellence Festival in 2019. Katie is a an upcoming graduate from the University of Iowa with a BFA in Dance. Here she studied and performed with profound choreographers such as Kieron Dwayne Sargeant, Eloy Barragán, Armando Duarte, Jennifer Kayle, and guest choreographers Flock. Katie was also part of the University of Iowa Dance Company in 2022-2023 under the direction of Melinda Myers and Todd Rhoades. This year she was apart of Trifecta Dance Collectives pre-professional dance company, TDC2, learning repertory and taking classes with the company members, as well as performing in their annual Trifecta dance festival. In the future Katie will be dancing in Chicago with hopes to someday open her own dance studio to share her passion for dance with young people.
