Katelynn Malmstedt, originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, is a third-year undergraduate at the University of Iowa pursuing a BA in dance and a BA in elementary education. Thus far, she has performed in works by Armando Duarte, Urban Bush Women, Kristin Marrs, Melinda Jean Myers, Christopher-Rasheem McMillan, Sarah Olson, Jessie Madden, and Jeremy Cline. Additionally, Katelynn attended a performing arts high school and had many professional opportunities to work with choreographers and companies within the St. Paul and Minneapolis area. She is excited to be part of UI Dance Company for the 2020-2021 season and looks forward to the rest of her time at the University of Iowa.
