Jenny Fairman is a sophomore from Lincolnshire, Illinois, double majoring in the BFA in dance and BA enterprise leadership programs with a Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship. She is also a member of the piccolo section in the Hawkeye Marching Band. Jenny previously studied at Lincolnshire Academy of Dance under the artistic direction of Brenda Didier where she trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and tap. She has had the opportunity to attend summer intensives at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and work with several Chicago-based choreographers. Past performances at the University of Iowa have included the Grad/Undergrad Concert, Faculty/Graduate Concert, MFA Thesis Concert, and Mammal Hall. Jenny is so excited to be a member of UIDC this year, and she is thankful for her family and friends supporting her in all that she does!
