Evan Zukin is a third-year student at the University of Iowa. Pursuing a Dance B.A. with a minor in Math, Evan is also the president and founder of Tap Dance at Iowa. He grew up dancing at Nolte Academy in Coralville, IA and primarily studied under Sean Kaminski and Robyn Watson. Since graduating high school Evan has traveled around the country attending several Tap Dance Festivals and taking classes from Tap Masters such as Derick Grant, Michelle Dorrance, and Diane Walker. Evan had the honor of making his professional debut in March 2024 at Hancher Auditorium with University of Iowa’s School of Music performing excerpts from Duke Ellington's Sacred Concerts. He has now been working for Nolte Academy for four years teaching Tap and choreographing for their competition team. Evan is so excited to continue to share his love of tap dancing with the Iowa City community. Thank you!
