Ashley McKim is a second-year student at the University of Iowa earning a BFA in dance and a BA in history on a pre-law track. Ashley is from Bettendorf, Iowa, where she trained and competed with Studio A Dance Company. Since coming to the University of Iowa, Ashley has had the privilege of working with Armando Duarte in Dance Gala 2021, performing On the Verge, and MFA student Emmalee Hallinan in her independent project Unsettled. Ashley would like to thank her supportive and encouraging cast mates, directors, and choreographers for curating a positive environment that fosters growth and creativity. Ashley would also like to thank her friends, family, and teachers for all the support she has received from them throughout her dance journey.
