Allyson Meinders is a third-year student pursuing a BFA degree in dance and a minor in business administration. She began dancing at age four and has since trained in jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, and Afro-diasporic styles.

 

Allyson has worked and performed multiple pieces at the University of Iowa, and she enjoys choreographing pieces for young dancers at her home studio. 

 

This is her first choreographed piece to be performed at a college concert, and she is so excited for you to see it!
