Madison Holtz is a third-year student at the University of Iowa double majoring in dance and psychology. Madison is from Haymarket, Virginia, where she trained at Gainesville Dance Center for 15 years, prior to coming to the university. Throughout her time at Iowa, Madison has worked with former MFA students Laila Franklin and Julia Cooper for the Graduate/Undergraduate and Faculty/Graduate concerts in the 2019-2020 school year and most recently, she worked with professor Tony Orrico for Dance Gala 2021. This is her first year with UIDC and she is so excited to show you all the pieces they have been working on. Madison would like to send a huge shout out to her family for always supporting her dance career and another huge thank you to Stephanie, Alex, the choreographers, and, of course, the cast of UIDC for such a wonderful year of inspiration, love, and growth.
