American Butterflies is the product of a multidisciplinary collaboration with Egyptian writer Mansoura Ezeldin as part of the International Writing Program. This work is inspired by Mansoura's homonymous text and is embellished by her voice in Arabic, and accompanied by the performers reading in their mother tongues.
