Advisory: Strobe-like lighting effects

This choreographic work examines an intersection of contextualizing the spaces that surround us and dance production. How do/can we settle into a space before altering it? Can we do both at the same time?

Zoe Miller Headshot

Zoe Miller is a midwest-based choreographer originally from Athens, OH. She received her BFA in Performance and Choreography from Ohio University where she performed for artists such as Alexandra Beller, John Bohuslawsky, and Zelma Badu-Younge. Her research interests include the differences between [multi vs inter]-disciplinarity of theatrical design in limitless space in addition to creating scenographic spaces that change in architecture and energy as its occupants shift their roles or tasks.

Ramin Roshandel is currently a PhD candidate in Music Composition at the University of Iowa where he is working with David Gompper. His pieces have been performed by Anna Elder, Will Fried, Daniel Schreiner, JACK Quartet, Ensemble Dal Niente, Kamratōn Ensemble, and LIGAMENT duo as well as in New Music On the Point and SICPP (Summer Institute for Contemporary Music Practice) festivals.
