Mia Spitzer is originally from Des Moines, IA, graduating from the University of Iowa with a BFA in dance and a BA in exercise science. She is a member of the University of Iowa Dance Team, performing at athletic events and national competitions. Mia is currently a staff member for Marching Auxiliaries, a choreographer for UDA dance teams, and furthering her own education in the teaching of modern and contemporary dance. She has also worked alongside many local dance studio entrepreneurs, high school show choirs, and assisted professional dancers in choreographic processes, including pieces competing at the ISDTA State Competition.
