Erin Evans is a Minnesota native and began her dance training at the age of ten and trained at multiple studios around the Twin Cities. She is a Senior BFA student in the Department of Dance and will be graduating with honors in dance. Erin will be receiving her Yoga Teacher Training Certification through the Yoga Connection as well. Erin also serves as the Vice-President of the Undergraduate Dance Organization. During her time at Iowa, Erin has been fortunate enough to be in works with many esteemed choreographers including Christopher-Rasheem McMillan, Jennifer Kayle, Armando Duarte, Monica Bill-Barnes, Brian Enos, Melinda Jean Meyers, and Charlotte Adams. In 2017, Erin had the opportunity of performing in the premiere of Monica Bill-Barnes, Leave it in the Field, and has also performed in the Iowa Arts Festival. In Commune With is Erin's first work that she is presenting and is very excited to jumpstart her dance career after graduation.
